Between Rodney Atkins' last album, It's America, and his new one, Take A Back Road, he did something that many adopted kids dream of doing -- he met his birth mother. In an interview with the Associated Press, he says, "She kept saying, 'I'm sorry' and I kept saying, 'Thank you.'" Rodney, who was adopted as an infant, serves as the celebrity spokesperson for the National Council for Adoption.
