Blake Shelton is tickled to find out that George Clooney knows who he is.
An Access Hollywood reporter asked George about Blake, and George said that he really liked him on The Voice. The reporter even mentioned that the two should get together for drinks sometime.
Blake says, “Well, I’m up for that, George. Let’s do it! We’ll go drink together. Bring that pig… I’ve heard about it!” He was referring to George's pet pot-bellied pig Max, who died back in 2006. Whoops! (sounds like something I would do, so I aint' hatin....) By the way, here is a video of George and his pig back in the day. Ladies, feel free to pause the video when you see a picture you like!!
I LOVE videos like this!!
Over the years we have seen some pretty insane buzzer-beaters from the world of basketball. We’ve seen them hit from three-quarters of a court away. We’ve seen full-court one-bounce shots. And we’ve seen full-court bounce-pass alley-oops. So when I say that what you are about to see is one of the greatest buzzer-beaters of all-time, please know that I don’t make such claims lightly.
It comes to us from the Liga ACB, which is the Spanish pro league. With time about to expire at the end of the first half during a recent game between Real Madrid and La Bruixa d’Or, Madrid decided to hurl the ball the length of the court on an inbound, despite the fact that they were up 23 points. The ball then managed to make it into the hands of team captain Felipe Reyes, who threw the ball backwards over his head toward the basket and turned around to watch it go in.
Jake just premiered a new video for “Beachin’.” It’s the third song available from his upcoming album Days Of Gold, which hits stores on December 3rd. Here it is if you haven't seen it yet!
Amy Robach of Good Morning America has been diagnosed with breast cancer. After agreeing to do an on-air mammogram for the morning show’s October Pink Initiative, Robach was surprised to find that the mammogram may have saved her life. On the morning show, the co-host spoke about advice she received from fellow host Robin Roberts, who has undergone treatment for the disease. Robach said, “I’m so grateful that I got the mammogram that day. Robin’s words still echo inside of me, ‘If I got the mammogram on-air and saved one life then it’s all worth it,’ she had said. It never occurred to me that that life would be mine.” Robach doesn’t yet know the stage or extent of her cancer, but has decided to undergo a bilateral mastectomy.
LADIES!! This is a wake up call to get your mammogram up to date. PLEASE don't put this off.
Forget twerking -- wait till you hear what Miley Cyrus did at MTV's Europe Music Awards.
In another desperate bid to gain attention, Miley smoked a joint during the live telecast Sunday night while accepting the award for Best Video. The show was held in Amsterdam, so she probably won't get in trouble. Marijuana is not legal in the Netherlands, but tokers can't be prosecuted for possession of small amounts and it's sold openly in cafes. The 20-year-old was spotted hanging out at one of those cafes with several other stars on Friday.
